Those evil kitties....

wobblerlorri... they're just so darn cute!! Xena has decided that Pets Are Nice, and she comes right up for whole body strokes, ear skritches, and tummy rubs. She rolls around on the floor, gently patty-paws your hand, preens, and purrs that cute little kitten purr. She'd rather be petted than play! And there's just something about petting a baby kitten that makes you feel good all over, isn't there?
Jack sits about 2 feet away and stares at her in astonishment. Doesn't she know that the Big Giant Trees That Move will eat her!!!?!?????!! However, he does like to be petted while he eats, and he arches into the stick of the Kitty Teaser, so I'm thinking he'll discover petting in a week or so.

scarybaldguy's journal that one of our cats, Bill, learned to open doors long ago? Well, he's decided the kitten room Needs To Be Open, so he's taken to opening the door. Luckily the kittens didn't get out before I found the door standing half open. I've put a little cup hook on the door frame and we're using a rubber band to keep the door closed. Bill still goes and rattles the door knob, trying to get it open.
And that is all.
