First, the obligatory kitteh pics

This is Jack and Xena...

This is Mohawk...

And this is Fat Xena all by herself (note Jack peekin' at the left)...
I've been playing with them using the Cat Hootling Device and they just love it. Today I laid down on the floor on my side and tried to get them to hop up on my legs chasing it. That's a little tall for them, but they'll come right up next to me playing with it. Xena even grabbed some of my pants leg and began killing it. Jack still hisses and spits when you go to pick him up, but the girls just moan a bit. Jack is easiest to handle if you lay him on his back in the crook of your arm and cuddle him. The girls pretty much don't care, they just endure it. None of them find it really wonderful to be held, but I imagine they'll have an epiphany pretty soon.
One of the girls will be going to her new home Sunday. I made sure the girl who's taking her knows she's a semi-wild kitten, and still isn't fully socialized. I've been following the Kramer Method for socializing these little furbls, and it's going really well. I'm going to give her a copy of the method so she can keep on with it -- she'll probably have to start at the beginning, but it will go faster since the kitten is well started.
We probably won't be able to have Li'l Lisa spayed Monday, she's still pretty full of milk and the vet doesn't do them when they're not dried up. I'll know better Monday -- if she's still engorged I'll cancel it and reschedule her.
And an extra added bonus, a Brownie Boo Pic!
