Translate THIS!!

wobblerlorriI'm sure most Americans know by now that some British asswipe got together with a bunch of Hispanic singers and "translated" the US National Anthem into Spanish. Then they recorded it and distributed the recording to something like 760 Hispanic radio stations.
I do NOT like this. The National Anthem is in English, written by an English-speaking person, and is meant to be sung in English (well, an attempt at singing it, given "To Anacreon In Heav'n" is probably one of the most torturous tunes to sing....), not to mention it is the anthem of an English-speaking country.
Why should any immigrant to ANY country expect that country to bend over backwards to cater to the immigrant's "needs"? If you emigrate to France, you learn to speak French and to live in the French manner. If you emigrate to Germany, you learn German and the German way of doing things. Ditto ditto ditto all over the world. But for some reason the US is supposed to be the Major Exception. Doesn't matter if you come from Outer Hinterlandia, speaking some moribund language that 12 other people in the entire world speak, carrying a culture that includes dancing naked in thunderstorms drinking the blood of virgin guinea pigs -- the US is supposed to welcome you with open arms, run around translating every damn thing into your language so you don't even have to learn "Please" and "Thank you", and make allowances for your "culture", even if it infringes on the culture of others.
I can't think of any other country that has a multi-lingual version of its National Anthem. I don't think the US should, either. It's wrong, wrong, wrong. And it will NOT make for any sort of "unity" between the radical Hispanic minority and the rest of the country. If they want to be so damn Hispanic, then GO BACK TO FUCKING MEXICO/SAN SALVADOR/NICARAGUA/OR WHEREVER THE HELL YOU CAME FROM. Leave the US for people who want to assimilate. It's a melting pot, not a salad bowl.
