Just got back from getting the kittens from the clinic, and they're all incredibly happy to be back home! There was much yerping and mewling on the ride home, and fingers were nibbled, preened, licked and pawed at. It's hard to stick a hand in 3 carriers at the same time, but I managed!

They're all doing very well, everyone weighs 4 lbs even except Orangey 1, who weighs 4.5 lbs. 1st year rabies all around, and post-op pain meds on board.

They're supposed to take it easy today, eat lightly, and be separated.... but how do you get a kitten to do any of those things, and I don't know how you'd separate 5 kittens in a normal sized house! So they're in the spare room, with a half-ration of dry food, water, litter box, and an assortment of balls and schmousies (not to mention fabric scraps and what not, since that's the sewing room).

It's amazing how affectionate they all are, too! Tortie Girl wanted to follow me out of the spare room, the two shy orange boys were curling around legs wanting pets, Scarfoot was sitting on my foot looking adorable, and Blackie was standing up on Mike's leg wanting attention. Maybe spaying/neutering as a baby turns on the "I LOVE YOU!!!!" switch or something...

So they're all done, now I have to rewrite the ad to emphasize they've all been fixed and vaccinated, and hopefully find HOMES for these sweet babies!

Thanks again to SPOT Atlanta and the West Georgia Spay/Neuter Clinic! You guys rock!
