The Night Before Chicago
6/3/10 06:38 pmConfirmed pickup with the airport shuttle people, 10 am tomorrow at the Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville. I'll be coming home Sunday the same way. Mike is taking me to the mall and then coming to get me Sunday. The cost for both shuttles is cheaper than a taxi one way.
All prescriptions are in one quart size ziploc bag, all personal toiletries are in another.
Obama '08 teeshirt and Eeyore pajama pants for nightie nights.
Black Hawaiian shirt, green and white striped seersucker gauze shirt, one pair of jeans, 2 pairs of madras print capris, one pair of spare socks. I don't know what the weather feels like up there, so I'm prepared for any eventuality.
Fanny pack packed with photo ID, Medicare and prescription cards, and credit card. Cash. Itinerary. Boarding pass. Cell phone programmed with numbers, charged, and tucked in fanny pack. Charger in carryon. Camera in carryon.
Transit Authority directions for all the places we're going in a folder in the carryon.
And I checked in online with AirTran, and upgraded for $49 to business class, so I'll be comfy! I'll do the same thing Saturday afternoon because that's so much easier than standing in line.

This time tomorrowpalsgraf_polka and I will be sharing a delicious Middle Eastern dinner at Reza's Restaurant, then strolling in a leisurely manner to the Neo-Futurist Theatre, where we will be taking the test and hopefully competing in "Crisis", the interactive game show theatrical production by the Neo-Futurists. After that show, we'll be staying for their 11 pm show, "Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind".
