Dr.Brown was able to do it entirely laparoscopically (and I'd hate to see how bad it hurts if it'd been OPEN!), and everything went well. He said it wasn't the biggest hernia he's ever seen, but it was up there in the top 5. He used a piece of mesh 20 in long and 10 in wide.
I'm currently operating on Percocet and Flexeril. Yay Drugs! He also gave me some Oxycontin, but it doesn't do jack for me -- I may as well be eating M&M's. So Mike gets those to try out for his back.
I'm eating well, and interestingly enough it's like I have the original tiny pouch again -- I can't eat as much as I was before. I guess pouch, having no room for overexpansion, has had to get right with the Lord again. No problem for me!
I'm also horribly dry. I've been drinking water and tea like it's going out of production. That's good too.
My binder is too big. ;-D
And now I'm going upstairs to have a nice nap. Got my walking in this morning.
