I called Dr. Eubanks this morning and explained what was going on, what happened Saturday, and how awful I'm still feeling. At 1:45 pm her nurse called, they had managed to get a stat CT scan scheduled, and I needed to be at the hospital right now. Luckily we live almost directly across the street from the hospital, so we were there in 3 minutes.

Got checked in, went to sit in the diagnostic imaging area, and got called back in about 5 minutes. Crept up on the CT bed, arms over head, and the scan was done in just a couple of minutes. Now that was the fastest I've ever been in and scanned. No contrast was done.

I asked if I could see the images, and the tech said sure. So she showed me my kidneys, and below them was what appeared to be a chain of white dots on both sides. Now, I'm not a radiologist, nor do I play one on TV or the internetz, but I think both ureters are jam-packed with stones.

Yay.

I'm drinking like a fish, even though nothing tastes good, and I'm not producing as much urine as I'm taking in water. Food is not even negotiable -- if I'm not feeling vaguely nauseous, what little I do eat is squirted out within hours as the foulest liquishit imaginable. I'm reduced to drinking plain ol' water, because Coke Zero tastes foul, caffeine-free tea tastes foul, even my pink lemonade Kool-Aid tastes foul.

I am not a Happy Camper. I'm hoping the CT is read quick and we can figure out where to go from here. Or if it's not kidney stones (my mad CT reading skillz not withstanding) please then what the FUCK is WRONG with me!!!

Answers please...
