Testing is done...

Went to my Census Taker test this morning, and got 26/28 right, or a 92.8%. Pretty damn good, I think.
AND!! Bonus Achievement: Mike had to take me to the library to take the test, and I got him to take it too! We made the same score, so I guess we're equally smart. He must have felt a tetch guilty for naysaying the whole idea, because he'd looked up the earning information on the SSD website, and found the same damn information, so he's cooler with the idea of me doing this.
What would be spiffy would be if we both were hired on -- there are 270 census tracts in Haralson County, where we live, and the lady who gave the test today said so far they only have about 15 people in all of Haralson Co. who've taken and passed the test... apparently the goal is to get 1 person per tract.
So if you need a part time job that pays pretty decent (Haralson Co. is paying $11.75/hr, counties closer to Atlanta are paying upwards of $20 an hour) go to http://2010.census.gov/2010censusjobs/ and find out about counting your fellow Amurricans this year.
BTW, for those of you bemoaning having a day job or whatever, most of the hours will be in the evenings and on the weekends, catching those folks who haven't filled out and mailed in the form or who left stuff blank.
