D.C. Mini-SquickFest anyone?

wobblerlorriI'm going to be participating in a vestibular study at the University of MD sometime in November or December, and was wondering if anyone on my FL would be interested in a meet-n-greet in D.C.? My son and I are going to turn it into a week of Get To Know Your Capital tourism during the days, but the nights will be open for the rest of the week (except I really want to do a Washington By Night tour, 'cause everything is so purty all lit up and all).
So let me know. Also if there are any really good must-not-miss sights in D.C. we must not miss. We've already decided on the Holocaust Museum, the Smithsonian (I know, too big for one day, but there it is), and I'd love to see the Lincoln Memorial, maybe a tour of the White House if they still do them.... anything else?
