Finished W3D3 today! Did all the 90 sec runs at 4.0 mph, did 2 min of the first 3 min interval at 4.0, and 90 sec of the second 3 min at 4.0 mph. I'm going to stay on W3 for another week until I'm running both 3 min intervals at 4.0 mph.
I noticed a little difficulty today getting into the groove during the first 90 sec run, but I settled in during the first 3 min run, and finished up well. Someone mentioned that the knees will complain some during W3 and W4, well, today's run certainly woke up the knee monsters. I'm a little sore in the left knee, but the right knee (my weak one) is really complaining. I took a couple of Tylenol, and when I go to bed tonight I'll put some ice on it and take more Tylenol.
I will NOT let an injury sideline me!!! I'll also start doing some knee exercises on my off days.
Speaking of which, I have 2 coming up, and I'm going to enjoy the living fire out of them!
