Writer's Block: Too scary!!

[Error: unknown template qotd]I was terrified of sirens. Ambulance, fire, police, whenever I'd hear one I'd go hide behind the couch, or anything I could get behind. I don't know why. My parents didn't know why. To this day I don't know why.

I was also afraid of Dancing Bear, a character on the Captain Kangaroo show, which was a US children's show. I loved Captain Kangaroo, I loved Mr. Green Jeans, I loved Mr. Moose, didn't feel one way or the other about Bunny Rabbit (I thought he was mean for stealing the Captain's carrots all the time), thought Grandfather Clock was patronizing, but Dancing Bear would send me out of the room.
