2. What's your favorite food?
Don't really know as I have a favorite really. Maybe shrimp. Man, I can eat me some SHRIMP.
3. White bread or whole wheat?
Multigrain, thank you. Ingle's (supermarket chain in the South) makes a fabulous flax seed whole grain bread, but they haven't had it in stock for WEEKS. When they don't have it, I get Nature's Own Multi-Grain. I love the sunflower seeds in it.
4. What's for breakfast?
Cup of yogurt, a banana, 2 children's chewable vitamins, 600 mg Lopid, 1200 mg folic acid, and 75 mg Effexor.
5. You're making a Dagwood sandwich. What's in it?
I generally get Blimpie's or Subway to make it. At Blimpies it's Blimpies Best, at Subway it's the BMT. Genoa salami, pepperoni, ham, lettuce, green peppers, oil and EXTRA vinegar, oregano, provolone cheese. At Blimpies they use salami, prosciuttini, ham, and cappacola.
6. What's on your pizza?
Thin crust, double cheese, green peppers.
7. Coffee, tea, milk, or soda?
Water or pink lemonade Kool-Aid. Can't drink caffeine anymore, gives me awful heartburn.
8. Dark, milk, or white chocolate?
Yes.
9. Teetotal, beer, wine, or hard liquor?
Teetotal. Just never got the taste for alcomahol.
10. Does cilantro taste like citrus, or like soap?
A little bit of it is citrusy -- too much is soapy. I have a low tolerance for it.
11. Is chorizo the greatest thing ever or is it totally disgusting?
never had the pleasure.
12. Do you use garlic like a vegetable or like a spice?
Spice, thank you.
13. Onions: raw, cooked, or not at all?
Depends on what it's in. Raw on a burger, caramelized for a steak, tender crisp in a stir fry, well done but still firm in everything else.
14. Does broccoli taste sweet or bitter?
Sweet when it's cooked. Don't care for it raw.
15. How do you feel about fish?
If it has 10 legs and antennae, it's on my plate. If it has scales and fins, you can throw it back. Unless it's red snapper.
16. How about sushi?
You use bait to catch the fish with; you don't eat it.
17. Fave ethnic cuisine?
Chinese, hands down. I could eat Chinese 365 days a year.
18. What's your favorite fruit?
Nectarines. Cherries and strawberries are a close second. In fact, I have some strawberries macerating in Splenda even as I type.
19. Cheese - thumbs up or thumbs down?
As a part of a recipe, thumbs up. On its own, just as a snack, yuck.
20. Finally, favorite dessert?
I guess chocolate cake with hard chocolate icing and vanilla ice cream. I can eat so little of sweet stuff now before I get sick, it almost isn't worth the effort to eat it.
