Mantilowicore
12/13/06 11:57 pmWell, whilst researching pictures to use for making a Mantilowicore (for background, see this entry), I came to a realization:
Lions, eagles, scorpions and manticores are all beasts far too noble to be sullied with the image of Barry Manilow, even for a jape.
Until I stumbled upon a lion skin rug. A lioness skin rug, to be precise. So of course, a Mantilowicore skin rug would answer perfectly. A Mantilowicore would naturally be too delicate and prissy a creature to survive meeting a knight, much less killing one.
Therefore, without further ado, let me present the Mantilowicore skin rug; or rather, rugs, since I couldn't decide between the fluorescent scorpion tail or the plain one. I imagine a genuine Mantilowicore would have both -- one for everyday, the other for those fancy occasions where being noticed is a must. Not behind a cut because I can't be bothered to look up the code.
