Kidney update
I'm still not feeling really well. Today I really relapsed bad -- worn out, stayed in bed most of the day, pretty bad twinges in the right kidneylar area, and I think I'm running a low-grade fever. I'll check that before I go to bed. Oh yeah, chills too, and it was 70 today. I felt like it was 45 in the house, and I was freezing.
I'm going to cancel the GERD surgeon appt on Tuesday, and call the sainted Dr. Eubanks tomorrow first thing and try to get an appt tomorrow. I need to get this kidney mess cleared up before I even consider doing any sort of surgery for the GERD. Besides, as long as I have my Dexilant, Zantac, and Tums I can live with GERD; it's kind of hard to live with no kidneys.
So there it is.
ETA: Made an appointment just now for 1:15 today. So we shall see what is up with the waterworks. Woke up at 4:45 this morning with enough pain to make me roll around and say OW. Funny smell from the hoo ha region, a faint but thick pus/urine smell which no one but I can smell. But then I have a pretty sensitive nose.
